Appendix B: Keywords and
Metadata
Meta Tags
In order to ensure your Web pages are searchable and listed in search
engines make sure you have a page title, description, and keywords in the
heading of your top level pages.

You can either enter in this META data directly in the HTML code in the HTML
view or by using the page properties view in FrontPage.
To add Meta data using MS FrontPage’s page properties
-
Open Web page and set to Normal view

Select the Format drop down menu

Click properties
-
Enter the Title, Page description, and Keywords in the
appropriate boxes

-
In FrontPage Design view Right-click on the page
-
Select Page Properties from the popup window
-
Enter the Title, Page description, and Keywords in the
appropriate boxes

data.
