Introduction

Overview
Thousands of visitors including potential students and current student, faculty, staff, and donors are able to visit Columbus State University through the Web site. To ensure that they receive a positive image of CSU, Web sites need to be:

  • Readily identifiable as part of CSU

  • Up-to-date

  • Easy to use

  • Attractive.

This manual is intended to guide all faculty, staff and students who design Web pages for departments and other official university units. It is the goal of the Web Development Team to provide resources and templates that offer Web designers flexibility to create sites that have a unique design while meeting minimum standards for the identity of the university.

Vision
Columbus State University Web sites will accurately promote the Columbus State University mission while providing robust services for members and prospective members of the university community.

Mission
Columbus State University Web sites will strengthen the recognition of the university by promoting its message and mission to external audiences. They will also provide support for internal audiences through self-service applications. CSU Web sites will be accurate, current, dynamic, engaging, attractive, and user-friendly.
